“The Enemy” VR project by Karim Ben Khelifa
“During his 15-years career as a war photographer Karim Ben Khelifa has been driven to find the answer to a single question: is it possible to invent a new way to make the audience care, to have them think more deeply about war? The Enemy breaks away from traditional media depictions of war. By allowing the ones who carry out the violence to explain who they are, their motives and their dreams, the project challenges views held by all sides, and ultimately humanizes the combatants.”
